Bulletin No. 3 - Oct 5, 06
Dear Colleague,
We have set up a web page with information regarding our November 2nd
meeting at MIT: ../Nov06/NSMeet_Nov06.html
The information is meant to supply some practical/logistical information, as
well as help us to structure the meeting. For this reason we have set up a
simple registration that will let us keep track of how many people to
expect. Hence we would like to ask you to please register, if you intend
to come. Just click on the "Register" link in the left-hand frame of the website.
In order to organize the discussion we would also like to ask you to
please send us an email if you would like to make a short presentation on
a topic that you think might be relevant (email addresses below).
If you would like to join us but cannot make it to the meeting, there will
be the possibility to attend by phone. We will set up a conference phone
in the meeting room and to try and make available online the slides for
the presentations. Presentations over the phone are also possible, as long
as slides are available beforehand.
Please let us know if you would like to attend in this manner, and
do not hesitate to contact us with comments and suggestions.
Please note that hotels listed in the "Lodging" section of the webpage have blocks that will only be retained for a few days (Oct 8 and Oct 12, respectively).
Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks,
Mike Landry and M.Alessandra Papa
